Good afternoon, Kindergothlings!  Sorry for the lack of posts this week, the days are really just flying by.  I’ve been waiting for this day for months.  Back in August when the 5th Black Veil Brides album was still somewhat of a Unicorn, and it was hard to find any kind of confirmation on it.  Fans on Twitter had bits and pieces of info, and tweets about the release date continually getting pushed back.   Back in October, around the time that The Resurrection Tour tickets started going on sale, the album concept was released.  “Vale”  was going to be a continuation of Wretched & Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones. The year was 2009. Printed hair extensions were all the rage..ish.  It was the pinnacle of my scene queen days. My music of choice,  because it freaked people out, was a super out there album "it's hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world" by a band called Blood on the Dance Floor. ..and not, Dolly Parton (who first used the title). Good morning, Kindergothlings!  It's about 7:15...I've been up since 2:30 this morning...Working third shift sucks because even on your days off, you feel like you miss everything.  Anyway, got some cool stuff for you today..jumping back into some music.  It's been a couple years since Manson's last album, and even longer since I've been a faithful listener.  I really thought he might have lost his touch when he started acting.  I watched him in the last season of Sons of Anarchy, and I know that he had some sort of role in the series "Salem," which he did the score for. "Heaven Upside Down"   definitely proved me wrong.  After 2 singles came out in September, the album had a full release on October 6th, 2017. There are few things more fun than getting ready for a rock show with some of my favorite people.  Draven & I before leaving the house. T HE SET-UP This white building of the Rocketown complex is a small, very garage-band-vibe venue.  No hate, very cool!  No worries with bringing in cameras or bags, everything was checked.  No re-entry was a bit lame, as well as not even being able to bring cigarettes in, even an unopened pack.  Like all you had to say was no smoking/no-reentry.  We really have to walk them all the way back to the car?  Parking: super easy, nice big lot in between the main building and where we were, so we didn’t have to walk a mile in the rain.  Price did suck, for 4 hours-it was $20.  Even for Falling in Reverse, the whole night was only $10. Good Morning, Kindergothlings.   My drive home from work looked a bit like a scene from "Silent Hill," intermittent patches of crazy dense fog. Ozzy, Rob Zombie, and Five Finger Death Punch in one show...sounds like a dream, right?  Well for those that are going to be in the area, Louder Than Life festival is going to blow your freakin' mind.   Champions Park, Louisville, Kentucky.  Imma be a square an follow all the action on Instagram  It's super last minute, but miraculously, tickets are still available online AND at the doors. Take a look at this killer line up, if we weren't already going to Falling in Reverse & All That Remains, I'd REALLY be bummed about missing this show. Set the World on Fire is the 2nd studio album from Black Veil Brides, and the first album with “CC” (Christian Coma) on Drums.  The album was released on June 14, 2011.  The first single released off the album was “Fallen Angels,”  very much an ode to the classic glam rock of KISS and Motley Crue. A few of my other favorites include “God Bless You” and “Rebel Love Song,” Which one AP’s music video of the year in 2011! Rebel Love Song, the anthem of a small town kid, dreaming of getting out.  Hitting home with me right now as I set my sights on Las Vegas. Another unexpected favorite for me is “Savior” I originally skipped over the song because it is a slower one. There are few words that I can muster to describe this song, except “everything I wish someone had told me at 14.” Jinxx has a violin solo near the end of the song, which is a beautiful addition.
