So, first of all...being the only one in your house working night shift at any given time is a very lonely existence...like even on my days off..I stay up as long as I can to hang out with my family...and then I go to take a "nap" at like 4..hoping to wake up at 7.  Nope, I woke up at 1am and watched the movie "Storks".... with my cat. Splat! Bold Hair Dye Review

The product I purchased was Splat: Rebellious Colors in the color “Pure Sapphire”  and started out the process with dyed black hair, that has been dyed a few times in a row.  So, really set in dye to begin with. If I had just this box, which I purchased from Walmart for ~ $9.18, I would not have had this good of results.  If you are starting from dyed black hair I suggest professional bleach, or a professional toner to get rid of the orange.  I actually had an additional packet of Lightening Bleach and bottle of Splat Oxide from when my sister touched up her hair color a few months back. On Day 1, I bleached my hair for the first time, leaving the dye on for about an hour.  The majority of my hair lightened to a medium-dark copper.  The roots of my hair, which I put bleach on last (to no avail) still came out lighter than the rest of it.  I washed the bleach out with just water.
